I'm a little obsessed with vintage table linens and dish towels.  I have a handful, for which I paid a pretty penny on eBay and other sites, but they no longer fit my current table.

I found this one on A-zon last month for $30. It's not vintage, it's brand new, but I love the vintage vibe.

What's on your table right now?

@house_cat How pretty!  Looks like a Villeroy and Boch pattern called French Garden!  LOVE the lemons!

When I bought the table cloth I chose it because of the color, lilac hydrangeas and I loved the print.  I do have old table cloths that my mother used to have on the dining room table also. These table clothes are plain with a bit of design , I believe they are from Italy.  I definitely inherited her love of decor.

I almost always have a runner on my table—I love the beautiful wood but also enjoy a pop of color—and right now I'm in "default mode" (i.e., not seasonal), which is a blue-and-white-checked runner that spans the full length of the table with a few inches of overhang at each end. At the moment, there's also a large Fiesta cobalt bowl in the center filled with lemons.

Both my kitchen and dinning room tables have long runners I made. Tables are very long and it's just easier to make the runners than find ones long enough. Both tables also currently have fresh cut flowers in simple crystal vases...daffodils in one and tulips in the other.

When eating in kitchen we use place mats, which get put away when we're done eating.

I'm curious why you have demitasse cups on the table. Please inspire me.  I have a lovely set that belonged to my great-aunt.  They're tucked away in storage right now because I don't use them.

I have wine themed embroidered place mats.  I am not a tablecloth person.  I do change the placemats seasonally.

@house_cat They are out on the table because they haven't made it back to the cabinet yet.  LOL!  Woman Embarassed  We have a coffee bar on a counter where the Nespresso machines set--one for old style capsules and one for the newer ones that husband uses mostly because he drinks coffee/Americano/Lungo sizes.

Above it in the cabinet are coffee mugs, cappuccino cups, iced coffee glasses and espesso/demitasse cups of several kinds, and some Le Creuset ones as well.  I don't drink coffee--just espresso straight or in iced coffee or cappuccino, iced lattes etc. and not much of that.

He also has a coffee/espresso machine that grinds coffee but it's not out on the counter now. It is resting!
