TSV Grill Question

Can this be used as a panini maker? I have been wanting to try a panini maker and do not know the best one. Someone said to get one with removable plates for ease of washing. Would this grill be good or should I look for a specific panini maker? If anyone can recommend a good panini maker that too would be appreciated.
