Am I the only one who can never get the number of cookies a recipe is supposed to make? I mean, if it says it makes 5 dozen, I usually only get around 3. Even if I use a measuring spoon to make the right sized dollops on the cookie sheet. Or make the balls exactly 1 inch (or whatever the recipe says). It never seems to matter - I always wind up with fewer cookies than I'm supposed to.

I know, really important question in the grand scheme of things, lol. I just planned to have a certain number of cookies for a gift, and it isn't working out. Setting out more butter so I can make up a batch of something else to fill up the platter.
