I hope I spelled Stacy's name correctly. She was a host on QVC and sometimes worked with David and even had a cooking show of her own. What happened? If I remember correctly, I think she was let go. Why??? This person is so good. Knows her "stuff", dresses professionally and is a pleasure to watch. Just wondering.

IF she was let go, the reason for it remains private. Future employers can legally only provide the dates of her employment from previous employer.

She may have made a choice for her own reasons that remain private. No one ever knows all the things that one person may be dealing with. Another aspect: future goals may have changed or it is just time for a change.

Bottom line: Even were you to learn the reason(s), how does that impact your life ? Isn't your privacy worth something ?

A little while back when QVC was involved with hosts leaving, they did not provide private info. The hosts may have... but the full story will probably never be given. Life is complex, whether it is the life of an individual or that of a corporate entity.

I have zero insight on why Stacy left her host position, her choice or a termination. I have seen her back on air as a food vendor rep, but I don't recall the brand.

@jlkz Give me a break. Finding out why Stacy left did not or will not impact my life. It's just a question. Aren't you ever curious?

Not sure why you can't ask about a person on QVC, on a QVC forum, but ok. Anyway, if I remember correctly, when she was leaving, she had posted something on instagram about it something like it wasn't her choice. I think she was part of that whole reduction in force they did a few years ago when Carolyn was let go. When Gabrielle (I forget her last name) was let go too. I could be wrong.

Yes, she was let go with several others in one of the earlier cost cutting sweeps.

Since she has been back as a vendor representative for quite a while, I'm sure she was not let go because of negative job performance.

Of course, it’s normal to be curious @coffee drinker . If I remember she was one of the hosts let go. I don’t know why. She even struggled with coming back as a vendor.

I hope a more knowledgeable poster jumps in, and either expands or corrects me. But that is my recollection.
