Re: Squeezing and Smashing Food

I'll be that one and use the old cliche.  You all do realize that you can change the channel, no one is forcing you to watch something you find offensive or gross...

Re: Squeezing and Smashing Food

I never watch food shows, but I had fun reading all the descriptions of what goes on. Some of the posts and comments were funny. Thanks for the laughs.

@Carmie

Never knew the etiquette rules on bread and butter, but to my surprise I've been doing it the correct way forever. 😉

What? You don't play with your food? Nothing wrong with that, my friend.

Re: Squeezing and Smashing Food

I went to a party recently and they actually had that coffee cake!!

Imagine thier surprise when I grabbed a large moist handful with my bare hand, and squeezed and mashed it into a compact  mishapen ball,before shoving the whole thing into my mouth in one great piece!!!

Then, I proceeded to chew it with my mouth open. while carrying on a conversation,  because it didn't all fit.

I swear only a few crumbs dropped into the punch bowl.

I can't understand why I was asked to leave.

Re: Squeezing and Smashing Food

The epitome of squeezing and squishing--- was the Rastellis TSV demo today at midnite--wagyu burgers--for today---he cut into a couple stacked  and all the oozed out was a bloody, watery mess!!!! Gag me with a spoon!!! The meat was not even close to being cooked--I would say it still mooed---------isn't still a thing that you shouldn't eat burger that rare??? Gross!!!

Re: Squeezing and Smashing Food

As to should we or shouldn't we that is a personal decision.

Mooing beef works for me.  I refuse to cook to death something that is already dead.
