Here is an article that I just read.....So sad.......... ${#emotions_dlg.crying}$ What restaurant(s) do you miss.........I personally miss Steak and Ale......as I could get prime rib when I wanted it....not just on select days at an "out" restaurant........ ${#emotions_dlg.ohmy}$ I used to be a big fan of Bennigans as well...... ${#emotions_dlg.huh}$

Steak and Ale was my favorite. My brother would always take me there for my birthday! We loved Shakey's pizza when we were growing up.

Wow, a walk down Memory Lane! Bennigan's was where my DH and I ate our first meal after getting married in 1983. We stopped at the one in Birmingham, Al. on our way to Gatlinburg, TN. I am sorry to see that it is one that has gone away.

Where I used to go in Atlanta, Steak and Ale, and Bennigan's were side by side, so it was just a choice as to what I wanted that night............. ${#emotions_dlg.w00t}$

Steak and Ale was the first steak house restaurant I remember going to in a big city. There was also a really good restaurant in Oklahoma City that served crepes but I cannot remember the name of it. Think it was part of a chain, but is no longer open. Anyone remember what this is?

Editing this as I think I just remembered it. Believe it was The Magic Pan. Anybody remember this?

We went Ponderosa every once and a while growing up. I was excited that Bennigans moved here a couple years ago. We used to frequent one every time we went to Florida and liked it alot. I remember pulling up the menu online and there wasn't anything on it that was appealing, so I never went. They closed recently. Also O'charlies closed here. When I lived in Knoxville, I went there often. When it opened here six years ago, I was excited. Went a half dozen times and was always disappointed in the food.

I miss Bennigan's too. I loved their Monte Cristo sandwich and the broccoli bites and the potato soup they had. I liked Steak and Ale but the one close to me was always kind of dirty, so wasn't crazy about that.
