Our town had no restaurants (we're kind of rural and low population.) Finally we got a restaurant, Ruby Tuesdays. No way.

Now we have all kinds of chains. Fewer non-chains and the cooking in our state is really substandard. So chains are popular. 

I like Chick-fil-A and believe it or not, if taking people out, Olive Garden is usually reliable, but they've fallen off lately in terms of good salads (soggy and bagged, not crisp like in past, and they dispense tomato and olives with a tweezers. Ah, com'on. They're veg, not royal jewels.)  They're also somehow blander than in past, but still, you can get a decent meal there and guests like it, as well as kids. 

We have a local chain called "Jakes" which has good burgers, like old fashioned ones, but the interiors are grim. But if you want a handmade real beef burger, they are fun.

I love chipoltle too!  The burrito bowl is a fav of mine.  I noticed you have my guy in your avitar.  I wonder if Bill the Cat will help Opus campaign the coming election?  Hahaha

Pretty much all of them except, seafood places.

 We like Cracker Barrel, Applebees, Perkins, Olive Garden and Outback.  We go to Perkins most often and like their breakfast selections.  They're also the closest to where we live.

Our Cracker Barrel is the best.  It's my favorite by far.  I also like Captain D's, and Perkins or Bob Evans for breakfast.  If we're traveling and just want to run in and run out, I like Wendy's or Subway.  For a special occasion I like Bonefish Grill.

We love Carrabba's, Bone Fish, and the rest are locially owned.

For "Girl's Day's we do salads at Applebys; Red Lobster, and Olive Garden.

My husband said that 5 Guys's hamburgers are good.

We have so many chains, but we seem to go to the sames ones all the time, when we do eat out.

Italian, Andiamos or Carrabas.

Steak, Longhorn Steakhouse

Seafood/Fish-Red Lobster ( not my favorite hubby likes it)

NONE of them. I prefer QUALITY food served in the many local restaurants where I live.
