@NickNack you are right, Really hoping for success ,trying to give the meal it's best chance of being good to serve to family and a honest review.   I really am a big fan of Martha Stewart.  My right shoulder surgery has been so limiting to my movements - just could not get stuff, not  allowed to drive or take this brace off expect for basic swing movement and showers until I see the PA.

@hopi

there have been a few people on the boards who posted positive reviews on the turkey. you may want to look at what they had to say to get some hints. i have it in my freezer along with the side dishes and will prepare it sometime during january. the best thing about qvc is is that it is a 100% money back guarantee on food items. you have nothing to lose. Smiley Happy hope it is a great meal for the both of us!

Re: So many bad reviews on Martha Steward's turkey breast-need opinions.

As stated in another post, I got the turkey breast and sides for my 24-year-old grandaughter.  She is a brand new mom and I wanted it to be easy for her.  She said it was so wonderful and also the sides that she asked for it again next year for Christmas.  She fed 6 people and had plenty. She is a "young cook" and figured it out.   If it is offered, it will be one of her gifts for Christmas.

@Fiero Woman-----And as I have stated before, I absolutely agree with your GD......

The reasons for the poor reviews, IMO......many people have no idea how to cook anything more than something that gets thrown into a slow cooker with a can of soup and/or people wanted a free meal under the terms of the Q's guarantee..

I got the same turkey as everyone else and it was neither dry nor tough....it

WAS delicious.

The turkey breast and creamed spinach were wonderful, so moist and flavorful.  I still have the mac and cheese in the freezer so can't comment on that.  I'm sorry the reviews were so bad that QVC discontinued to product.  I certainly would have purchased it again.

My understanding from reading the posts is that it came with a DVD video for instructions.  I imagine a lot of people either didn't see the DVD or had the time or inclination to watch it.  I think people prefer to just stick it in the oven and set a timer.
