I need your input ladies. I've been thinking about a certain holiday temptations piece but I hesitate to order.  I bought 2 pcs many years ago, they were on clearance; casserole type dishes. Almost immediately upon using them they developed cracks all over which then discolored and the dishes look unappealing and old.  (didnt bother to return)

I have seen many write about their Temptations doing this also BUT I also see so many who say they love the line. And recently a Temptation dish set was picked by "O" magazine as one of the Top 10 buys for that issue.  How could they do that if there is a problem with quality control in the products?

Anyone have feedback and/or recommendations for me? TIA

I've purchased TT since they first aired, and with very mixed results in the quality department.

I've had pieces craze (quite a few actually) and one cracked in the oven, but for the most part, they work well, if people follow the 'rules' of using and washing ceramic.

Just know that for the price per piece you are paying, they most likely won't be heirloom pieces that get passed down for generations. If you enjoy the patterns and colors, and aren't looking for a lifetime of lasting, they are enjoyable to  have and use. If you are the kind of person that wants to only invest once in something to last for decades, this most likely won't be it.
