After having debated for a while about the merits of a no oil turkey fryer, I chose to go that way and I am so glad I did.
One of the things that turned me away from the MB turkey fryer is that you cannot put a rub on the turkey or other meat and you certainly have none of those lucious drippings that you can use to make your gravy. In addition, I do not have to worry about the price of oil or the time to be able to clean up.
On Thanksgiving using my no oil fryer I cooked our 15.7 lb bird with both an excellent rub and injection in about 70 minutes using the spanek turkey tool with the grill and just last night I made a fabulous sirloin bone in pork roast in about 2 hours and you can see some of the results from raw to plated here as well as a comment from an expert ..

"It really does not get any better than that, if you have a pork roast with a tasty crust and moist when sliced........YOU GOT IT!!!!!! "
All in all I am extremly pleased with my purchase and in Big Lots it was $88 and to fill my tank was under $20 and already I have cooked more than 15 hours and I still have far more than half a tank of propane left.
