Re: Share your worst experience with Temp-tations failures in your kitchen

I have a ton of this prduct, no problems what so ever, I think some people keep slamming this product because that is all that is going on in their lives, the most important thing that has ever happened to them

I was planning a dinner for Some Enchanted Evening but It Was Just My Imagination I wanted A Taste of Honey. Now, I Ain't Too Proud To Beg for help from My Girl so I told her to Get Ready for The Way You Do The Things You Do in the kitchen.

I would rather not rehash a nightmare of cleaning my oven from gooky macaroni and cheese mixed with ""non-stick"" ceramic.

Re: Share your worst experience with Temp-tations failures in your kitchen

So from all the millions of Temptations sold in the universe, there are not even 20 complaints? TT is an inexpensive, beautiful, fun set of stoneware. It works well if you treat it like stoneware. I am glad this thread was started, & we can all see how few complaints there are out of the MILLIONS of sets sold. GOOGLE it.

...interesting quote and observation.......so that means that those of us who have had NO problems are not being fair in our comments and assessments? {#emotions_dlg.confused1}{#emotions_dlg.glare}

I dont doubt that mominohio has posted her own personal experiences good and bad, but i would never say anyone else is being less than fair in posting their positive responses to the brand.

I did not say that anyone else was not being fair. I said that no one is any MORE fair than she is, and yet she is getting bashed for starting this thread, posts have been deleted, she has had very snarky remarks made to her on other threads. She proved her point... that was the only reason for even starting it.

Someone has been playing games, and it has been noticed by other posters.

I will say that your own posts are not insulting others and not accusing them of being dishonest, and I for one appreciate that. You don't embellish the facts or exaggerate. You apparently try to keep your posts factual and give your honest opinions, and as I've said many times, I'm glad for those who love Temptations and never have problems with it. I love some of it too, but I had too many problems to continue putting my money into it. I guess that's my bad luck.

But for any poster here (not you) to say that there are so few bad reviews is still totally untrue. It doesn't have to be googled, all anyone has to do is read the reviews on QVC.com. And also, as I've said before, yes, of course, the good ones outweigh the bad, but there are hundreds and hundreds of bad ones. Some people just don't want others to know that.

And I also think it's a silly thing for a poster to say that because someone has a problem with this product, they don't have anything else going on in their lives but to come here and complain. That's the kind of post that is insulting, because no one here knows anything about anyone else. People who have negative experiences have every right to post about them, but they are continually bad-mouthed about it or have their posts deleted. Even posts that don't say anything at all bad about the product, but are just between posters, get deleted for no reason. That's the kind of thing that causes this craziness to continue.

This is my personal opinion about the whole situation. I have nothing more to say, but I hope you have a good evening.

Re: Share your worst experience with Temp-tations failures in your kitchen

I love my temptations. However extremely annoyed with the replacement policy. I've been waiting on a 13x9 baking dish since Nov. Everytime I call to check on it I'm politely told still on back order. Last time due in March. Now I'm told possible June. Then the rep politely noted, I should be happy other people have waited longer than me! Really Tara! The lid-it cracked in half with a tenderloin on it in a 350 degree oven with no signs of damage. The 13X9 has spider cracks in the base front and back. Afraid to use it. Please s e nd me my replacement. I already paid for the shipping. Thank you

There is no one who has ever posted about Temptations who is more fair in their comments and assessments of the product than this OP. Her comments always give both "sides"... as she has said many times, she loves Temptations, but she has had some problems with it and is willing to be honest about it, unlike some. She doesn't gloss over any of the negative aspects, but she praises the product and talks quite a bit about how much she likes certain pieces and patterns, and what she would like to buy.

I have also said many times that I really like many of the patterns, colors, and accessory pieces and would like to feel that I could purchase them... but my prior problems and reading the reviews have kept me from doing that. All I have done is to be honest about the reviews and suggest that people read the reviews themselves, and then make their decisions.

The OP doesn't need me to defend her... she does a great job of that herself. However, I've seen and been affected by the "problem" on these threads. As she said in a previous post here, she started this thread to prove a point, and the point was proven, in spades.

WOW! Knowing this, I will now avoid certain disingenuous threads! Kind of laughing at posters, hmm?

Was this post started with the expectation that there would be many many more negative comments?

I'm guessing it was started because this Temptations forum doesn't already have enough constant bickering and back-and-forth accusations. Wink

And I'm not sure I've ever seen such a subject line in any forum dedicated to a particular line.

Says a lot about the OP....{#emotions_dlg.blink}

gkelly, it says an awful lot more about the fact that 'someone' here can't stand the heat, so they throw other's comments out of the kitchen. It says that 'someone' can't just participate in a debate on this particular subject, and let the facts and opinions speak for themselves. It says that, like I predicted, that posts would disappear, and they have.

I do have to wonder, just what posters, that have to have other's comments deleted, feel so insignificant about. My guess, is that hearing the truth is uncomfortable, or they have some vested interest in something as simple as dishes, and can't let others just say what they will about their own experiences.

Yep, the missing of yet more posts from the same people, does indeed, say a lot.
