I know about seasoning cast iron pans, but I have to say I've never heard of seasoning stainless steel. I've never done it before, and am not aware of having any issues with my pans. I use a set of very nice quality Calphalon tri-ply pans but never seasoned any of them prior to use.
I've been looking at a stainless paella pan, and according to the info at the website (not Q) it is recommended that the pan be seasoned before use - and re-seasoned after washing with soap!
Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!
