Oh, these are so me!  But I have canisters purchased many years go from Pier One that are still very nice, so I won't even let myself go look.  But these are so pretty.

Pretty canisters. But, whoa! I thought Pier 1 was gone. What did I miss?

They're online only.  And I think it's like a lot of these stores we've seen go out of business in recent years. Another company buys the rights to the name and then sells online under that name.  It's not the original company.  I checked the online "Stein Mart" and it doesn't have the brands that the actual SM carried in their stores.  Another one is Coldwater Creek, which was purchased by a company out of Hong Kong after they went out of business.

ETA I just checked and sure enough, the name was purchased:

"After acquiring Pier 1's trademark name, intellectual property, data and e-commerce assets, new owner Retail Ecommerce Ventures (REV) is relaunching the retail brand as an online store"
