our schwans man is coming tomorrow.

i thought it would be interesting to see what you all order.

might keep this as a regular thread if there is some interest. 

what did you order for this week?

I just sent in an order but it isn't due until May 8th!

I always try some ice creme product. But also got pasta veggies, fried roasted veggies, beer battered fish and chicken strips, plus some of the wheat bread loaves. I will add and delete to my cart and inevitably things will sell out in the interim. But I like Schwan's.

I tried to order chicken breasts, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. Everything I ordered is out of stock.

three of my items say out of stock also, but my schwans guy told me to add it to my cart anyways because if it comes in then i will have it preordered. it will stay in your cart until your next order or you can delete it if you dont want to wait.  he said that their sales are up quite a bit from regular customers and now they are adding lots of new customers.

will let you all know tomorrow if my out of stock items get delivered or not.

I usually order twice a month, but my Schwan's man didn't show up time before last, making me go a whole month.  He said this was due to high volume and new customers, but should be back on schedule now.

My question to other customers is it there is something you wish Schwans would carry or bring back? I'd like to see them carry twice baked potatoes. I'd like them to bring back the blueberry pigs in a blanket.

have you tried the loaded potato skins? they are delicious and easy to prepare. i just top them with a bit of sour cream.

those blueberry pigs in a blanket were delicious! i do buy the mini corn dogs sometimes and enjoy them.

sometimes when i start "loving something" it disappears.

i wish they would carry spinach and i really miss their crab rangoon. i was addicted to those with one of my pregnancies. i also miss their maple bacon. there are probably more things also. i am a 25+ year customer.
