I like your idea of using provolone with the mozzarella, I will try this recipe.

@ciao_bella Your recipe sounds like mine, but I add two eggs to the ricotta mixture.
I never made it without the eggs. I guess it will I turn out okay without them?

Thank you for the recipe and sharing this delicious dish!
I think I'll make for my company coming next week.🙂

@ciao_bella Oh my. Thanks for sharing. I have to admit, I never made lasagna in my life, but I'm starting a @ciao_bella recipe file. This looks fabulous, which the chicken thigh sheet pan dinner was also. The stuffed shells look delish. I would mix my cheeses as well.

Great recipe @ciao_bella! Mine is very similar but I add some chopped spinach as well. Mangiare!

@Carmie she does has 1 egg in her recipe here. Two eggs sounds good as well, richer. No eggs would be a no-go for me. Im going to add spinach like @Tori3569 does, and give it some more jazz for lack of a better term lol.

@Carmie I do use 1 egg in the ricotta mixture. It's in the recipe I posted.. (lol..you made me go back and check to make sure I had it typed in my recipe.)
Many recipes, including this one, I don't have written down on paper and have to rely on my memory when I type them up. I also don't measure a lot, only in baking, You'll often see me say something like 'a fist full of parsley or 'add some chopped garlic' or 'put some Smoked paprika in until it looks and tastes right'. As a child, I learned a lot about cooking from my mother, and that's how she did it. You probably had a similar experience.
