Rhodes white dinner rolls (36 ct pkg)

Sooooo, I just discovered these little gems. They come 36 to a pack, which is a good thing because you don't want to overdo it. However, they come 36 to a pack - so it's easy to overdo it.

I don't normally eat white bread and usually stick with whole grain types - but I've been on a carb kick lately (must be all the running I've been doing it makes me hungry) and I've been making six of these at a time. I even did the 'speed' rise yesterday with a boiling plate of water in the oven.

I have to say, for anyone who has ever eaten at Texas Roadhouse and had their rolls/butter ahead of the meal......I think I've found my vice in these. I make them and love them with Brummel & Brown butter alone or sometimes add honey. THEN....I decided to make a cinnamon/apple spread that is similar to Texas Roadhouse's. Oh my GOSH.......So, I ate all six in one sitting yesterday. Trying to avoid them today. I made them once with a chuck roast and dijon mustard.........okay, I'm drooling now.

So, if anyone likes this type of thing.....they are out there. Can't believe it took me so long to discover them. I had another style of the Rhodes previously, but they weren't the same. These tasted sweet. I need to add these to my 'only occasional' food list. Now I'm thinking up cream cheese spreads that can go onto them. {#emotions_dlg.blushing} 'cause you know that will make them everyday foods. HA.
