Has anyone ever bought one of these from the "Biggest River" website? My Keurig K-Supreme I bought from the Q in October of '23 as a TSV died this morning. Really most sincerely dead! Called Keurig to trouble shoot and sure 'nuff, they declared it dead. And of course it was a custom color, Farmhouse White, which I can't get from anywhere new. The rep, of course, told me I should never buy a refurbished model, and pushed me to order from Keurig immediately, offering all kinds of incentives, but I wanted to look around. I guess I should have ordered the Keurig TSV this year, even if it wasn't a model I wanted. <sigh>
Anyway, has anyone gotten a refurbished Keurig and had it turn out to be a good deal? Or, alternatively, is there a single serve coffee brewer brand you like better than Keurig, but uses K-cups? I've got almost 3 full boxes of Starbucks Christmas Blend stashed, I want to be able to drink it! Please chime in, I'm involuntarily decaffeinated and NOT LOVIN' IT! ![]()

@CamilleP, I just did a quick search on eBay using the term Keurig K-Supreme and there were a lot of returns. I have no idea if there are different models but perhaps you will find what you want there.
I have no experience with refurbished Keurigs but have found that most appliances refurbished can often be more reliable than new in the box mass produced items.
Both are really a roll of the dice but if I can get something refurbished at a great price, which is usually the case, I take a chance since most places that offer refurbished have decent return policies.

We've been buying the same single serve coffee maker (that takes #2 Melitta Filters, not a Keurig) off ebay for several years. I usually get it for about $75 but I noticed that their aren't many new ones left any longer. We have a spare in the closet.

@CamilleP - Amazon has one of these (refurbished) in Farmhouse White for $109.99. I don't know how that compares to what you paid originally.
However, Amazon has a thorough explanation at the bottom of the item page, of what you can expect with a refurbished item. It sounds okay to me. Might be worth you checking it out.

I ordered th K-Elite refurbished from Amazon. I didn't realized it was refurbished but have had excellent results from it.

Checking out eBay, one in Farmhouse White, Certified Refirbished, 2 yr warranty. $98/free ship. High volume seller.

Thank you, everyone, for chiming in! Comparing prices, Amazon wants the same amount of money for a refurbished machine that Keurig wants for a new one. Huh? I also found the slightly upgraded model that is out of stock at Keurig for $129.99 at Costco, but not locally, and would cost an additional $9.99 to ship. The upgrade gives you 3 temps and strengths to choose from, plus an additional cup size, and a resevoir that holds 12 more ounces of water. Is that worth an additional $30? That's what I'm asking myself. I was able to find my old Keurig 2.0 in the closet and put a piece of electrician's tape over the sensor so it will brew my Peet's coffee cups and Starbuck's flavored pods, even though they are not brand-approved by that old model. It doesn't have multi-stream technology, so the coffee isn't as good, but it will do until I get a new brewer. Now, am I so in love with a color that I pay the same price for a used one as I would for a new one? Or do I just pay a little more and get the upgrade? I can be grateful I don't have to boil my coffee in an old enamelled pot over a campfire and crack an egg into it to settle the grounds, anything better is clearly a first world problem.
Thanks again, everyone!

In general, refurbished products are fine. Once something's been unboxed, ethical sellers can't sell it as new. Store display models that have never been used are often the "refurbished" products. Someone will buy something, use it once or twice, maybe not even use it at all, and return it. They can't sell it as new then. Products refurbished by the manufacturer are typically the safest to buy, but most refurbished stuff is fine.
My exception to the refurbished stuff is fine rule is for things like TVs and computer monitors that are often turned on when the store opens and left on the whole day. You'll typically have lost a year-plus of their expected life, and that's a lot.
The old catalog/display store retailer Best/Basco used to have an outlet nearby where you could save a lot. They sold returns and display merchandise there at absurdly good prices. They'd have display products in every retail store (about 200 stores at their peak), and when something didn't make the next catalog, those store display models would go to the outlet. Things were often marked down 50% or more and had just spent a year on a store shelf not being used. I saved a ton of money there.

Thank you, @ID2 . Does your Ninja use K-cups? I admit to wishing I'd bought the Nespresso TSV, but those pods are MUCH more expensive than Keurig-compatible pods, especially since I buy those in bulk at Costco.
I had a Krups coffeemaker at work that had an insulated carafe, I brought it home when I retired, since I bought it in the first place. Overall, that coffemaker must have been 30+ years old when I finally had to ditch it, the plastic parts started to off-gas a smell that made me think they were starting to decay. If the Keurig duo that was the TSV had had an insulated carafe on the "pot" side I would have ordered it, but you are right, @ID2 , Keurigs just don't seem to last! I would have been happy with the last one if it had lasted half as long as my old Krups, it didn't even last 1/10th as long. Please let me know if Ninjas use K-cup type pods, thank you!
