I haven't watched the show as often as I used to. Not because her daughter and daughter's boyfriend are filming but I lost interest. If I'm channel serving and she's on, I'll check out what she is making but it usually doesn't interest me anymore.

I agree totally, She has been doing the show long enough that you can tell this is just plain silliness. Also, she seems to be just throwing things together. Kind of like when my grandkids and I play in the kitchen and experiment.

The first few quarantine episodes were enjoyable. I thought the "realness" was refreshing, but, now her over-the-top silly "schtick" is old.
Now, I don't mind silliness-in fact, I'm silly on a regular basis. But I'm also not filiming a cooking show. To me, she seems like she just doesn't care. A few episodes ago she made frozen fish sticks and recently made already made ravioli, pour jarred sauce over it, covered with cheese and then basil, which she kept calling parsley and her daughter had to correct her a couple of times.
She really is acting like she is trying to be one of her kids.

I use to watch the food network, but it has changed so much I don't find it fun anymore.

I enjoy Ree and her shows . She is accomplished and very talented . I often wonder why she is put down . I think that people are just jealous of what she has . I am happy that she is who she is .
There are my honest opinions .

@shelbyshelbyshelby I much prefer these at home shows to the scripted ones. And some of her recipes are so simple and good it makes my life easier to have a few simple recipes to fall back on. I'm cooking a couple times a day and I need easy once in a while.

I liked the format of her home show at first and thought it was more relaxed and fun. But now it's just getting too silly for me to watch.

This is off topic but since you mentioned Hamburger Helper I have to say my family and I love it, especially cheeseburger macaroni
Also it's easy. I'm not against easy but I don't tune in to cooking shows to watch how to make fish sticks
