which kind of wine do you prefer, if you drink?? for the longest time I've stuck to my favorite whites- sauvignon blanc, muscadet, dry reisling, vermentino, pinot grigio etc but lately i've started enjying the reds-especially pinot noir, montepulciano, and tempranillo... I have a couple of wine racks and have about 18 bottles of white and only 2 red! On Saturday, I bought 7 different bottles of red to start seeing which i like best..just wondering what others drink...

I'm not exactly what one would call a wine connoisseur, but I do much prefer red wines.  I like merlot, cabernet, chianti, etc.  Once in awhile, in the summer months, I might do an occasional white wine, but I do prefer the reds.

My husband is a Bordeaux fan. Cabernet sauvignon is his favorite. For me, sparkling wine, champagne, is my favorite, I have been to the Champagne region of France but there are other French sparkling wine regions, e.g., the Loire and the Alsace, where great sparkling wines are produced, far less expensive than Champagne but delcious.

It's all about the pinot noir for me.

Hands down; I love a dry red wine, Merlot in particular.  However, at my age the red wines (love Pinot Noir too!) lights me up like a firecracker at night.  Night sweats take on a whole new meaning!   So, in the meantime I indulge in Pinot Grigio.  But, I do sneak in my Merlot if I don't have to work the next day.

I'm a white zin girl.  I'll drink a resling if it's sweeter, and there's a German one I found at a resturant I haven't seen elsewhere.

Only white wine here. I just can't stomach the taste of red.
