Hi...looking for recommendations for a personal smoothie blender. I only want it to make smoothies, reasonably priced, durable, easy to clean...
Thanks for any recommendations you may have!

Just stay away from the one's that turn upside down to mix. A couple of disaters have occured. Don't know who thought that was a good idea.

We have a Nutra Bullet. It does turn upside down but we have had for years and have had no problem. My husband and I each made a smoothie every morning for over a year.

I love my Ninja storm. I don’t know if it’s still available here but just do a search, I think HSN has it. I like it much better than the Vitamix we had, which I donated.

My blender of choice is my Vitamix that I use for smoothies but I also have the Ninja Storm --I haven't used it for smoothies however, but for other things--- that little thing is the bomb---but I donated the Nutri bullet thing---it was just too hard for me to press down to power it up and was really hard to control it. I love my VM as my smoothies contain alot of greens and it pulvarizes them into liquid ---not sure if the Ninja can do that and not sure what type of smoothies you like to make, but it is great!!!!

I have the simple Ninja that has one double blade. Does lovely job on smoothies using 1/2 c frozen ice cubes.

DH has an Oster that he uses almost everyday to make smoothies. It also came with a food processor base that I like better than my Cuisinart food processor.

I have a Fochea brand from Amazon. It's perfect for single serve and reasonably priced. I think it was under $50. I've had it for about a year. Hope this helps.

You should try your Storm for smoothies. My Vitamix would never fully pulverize frozen banana slices, the Ninja does great!
