k337573    This is the best little cast iron skillet I've ever had. Since I got it  it's all I use for frying hamburgers, salmon, minute steaks, etc.

I hand wash it. about 3 lbs. I paid 40 for it and worth

every cent, now, it's 4.00 off.

Keep it on the stove and reach for it for everything.

Like it better then my Sam's Club skillets.

Can go in the oven too up to 600'.   Love this little thing!   Good for 1-2 people.

@SharkE ....thanks for this recommendation.  It does look handy but, not a deal breaker, was wondering how sturdy the handle is since it is removable.  I'm not sure I would trust it.  Pan looks easy to use without it.  Have you used the handle?

Nah, just use oven mitts on the welded on side handles matter of habit.  After I cook the meat just grab one handle with a oven mitt and slide it over to a cool burner.

(got electric cooktop)

really loving this skillet. even browning and just spray it with canola spray instead of using crisco lard and cook my favorite which is cube chicken flat shape that's been tenderized.

I was looking at this skillet.  I FINALLY figured out the best way for me to cook Italian sausages.  I cook them in a bit of water first, then cool them and put them on soaked bamboo skewers.  Place the skewers over the sides of a dish/pan so the sausage is not touching the pan, spray a bit with olive oil and cook in the oven at 400 degrees.........the inside is juicy and the outside casing is crunchy.

End up using two pans to do this and would like to be able to jus use one pan.

@SharkE

I'm thinking 2 small steaks like filets could fit in one?
