For those who are unhappy with the products due to the quality but you still purchase it, why not get a refund instead of an exchange? Hit TT in the pockets and they will do something about the quality.
This has been asked over & over again, HonnyBrown. I agree, stop buying TT and the sales will go down and the Q will move on to another brand! There are only a few posters that only come here to whine & complain about the same break/crack/craze over & over, they somehow have an emotional attachment to this product and keep coming back time & time again with nothing new to add to the OP's thread.
OMG YOU are saying this?????
Whine and complain?.......Oh isn't that really rich!!!!!
How about alert and explain due to numerous dangerous and defective Temptations consumer product usages, already posted from their QVC Temptations related usage consumer experiences?????
I stopped buying and trashed my vast Temptations Collections due to almost getting burned when my Temptations large casserole baker was being removed from my hot oven, and cracked in 1/2 in my hands.
When I released it from my grip it exploded crashing to my kitchen floor into large and smaller dangerous ceramic shards, while the hot food with sauce splattered on my kitchen floor, walls, and everywhere else. In addition to that dangerous defective Temptations disaster my guests on two other occasions had my Temptations serving bowls filled with cold salads and while being passed from guest to guest just crack in their hands.
I will still continue to post and mention my frightening Temptations products experiences, on all Temptations threads, to ensure everyone is aware of the dangers many of us have personally experienced when baking and using this obviously quite defective and dangerous Temptations Product Line.
Reason is every consumer should know the pro's and cons of anything they utilize which can endanger themselves, their loved ones, friends or dinner guests.
It is also public internet knowledge that these dangerous experiences have also occured to other consumers, in addition to many of us here.
The truth will continue to prevail, and as she stated we will all continue to "post, whine, and complain.....since that is also our right".
In any event as I always say....."The truth will still prevail".
As a caring human being, I always place consumer product safety, well above financial gains, and profits.
Thanks once again for confirming what I said in my post. Everyone (excluding the regular "anti" TT posters) reading these can clearly see for themselves and understand. Thank you!
And speaking of truth...millions, over 11 million & counting, just on QVC alone plus more from Tara's Temp-tations site have been sold and are still selling out whenever new items/designs/patterns are presented on the Q!
Once again, yes, some have had problems but the majority want replacements for their TT purchases and still say they love TT and would recommend TT to their family & friends. This is from posts here on the Q including items being received broken in the mail and has nothing to do with breaking from using them. Just stating the facts here and anyone can go take a look for themselves if so interested.

The Temptations Clearance Sale thread was poofed ....Our friend voyager was also on that thread and read my reply, and agreed with what I said, and that entire thread has vanished...sound familiar? You bet it does.
Earlier today on the Temptations sale clearance thread she had the audacity to give me her "advise" incorrectly spelled of course, as it should be advice.
Her "advise" was to tell me to let it go as far as my Temptations defect product dangerous experience I posted about on that thread.
What I found most amusing was she had the impudence to give me her "advise," unqualified non professional medical diagnosis about my elevated blood pressure, resulting from my disappointment and anger echoed in my reply, regarding temptations which is complete rubbish. My BP is within normal range for my age.
In any event none of my posts, replies or internet communications ever echoed feeling anything but shocked and highly concerned that these defects and dangerous accidents occurred, not only to myself and my guests, but to others on these Community bb's as well.
I was neither disappointed nor angry when my large casserole baker cracked in 1/2 while I was removing it from the hot oven to serve to my guests, and the 2 Temptations serving items cracked while holding refrigerated salads at different gatherings while being passed around the table to guests.
What I felt was consumer shock and relief that neither I, nor any of my guests were burned, or suffered any other injuries from what occurred with utilizing these highly defective Temptations bake ware and serving bowls.
I just did a search using Community and the word Temptations and low and behold the Temptations clearance sale thread is gone......but plenty of other threads about defects, junk ware, and the like are still there. Enough to prove the truth does prevail and will continue to prevail.
Also duly noted is shoddy workmanship, unacceptable paint jobs, and chips in items received. This all need to be addressed by the vendor, and then safeguards implemented to bring the words consumer safety, and product quality back into focus.
I told her in my reply that other members also know why our truthful posts about defective dangerous Temptations experiences are being poofed, and we did not need Einstein to know there is indeed a hidden agenda.
That hidden agenda is very evident to any QVC member who disagrees, or posts their negative Temptations experiences.
Like others many wonder with all her continuous challenging, arguing, belittling, defending, minimizing the severity, intimating we all lied about our Temptations defective product experiences and the like.....one question to date still remains unanswered by her which is " just what is her hidden stake and agenda in all of this?".
She ignores consumer safety as though what happened to our defective pieces which caused accidents does not matter at all. There is not one shred of compassion in her posted replies to anyone who had dangerous encounters with the Temptations line.
She eludes replying to us, and continues her merry way.
All she is doing by poofing, or having our threads and replies removed, is calling additional attention to herself, and also adding fuel to the fire, but evidently her ignorance is bliss.
Let her continue to belittle, humiliate, state we are liars, post personal innuendos, make ridiculous untrue assumptions, and dole out unlicensed medical diagnosis to me. The more the merrier, because she is shooting herself in the foot with her own ignorance, and is sabotaging herself by calling attention to her personal agenda time, and time again.
I always call a spade a spade, and never back down when it comes to consumer safety, because consumer safety should rise above profitability, and that is something she will never care about at all.
I also feel everyone should know the real truth of what may happen and has happened to many of us who bought and used various products from the Temptations line, and had dangerous accidents occur to ourselves and others.
The truth shall prevail, because "truth = knowledge, and knowledge = consumer purchase power.

Great post. I just contacted QVC corp. today and they promised that they would investigate the issue of posts getting poofed when they are in no violation of Community Standards. We ALL have the right to express our opinions on a product, good or bad.
Thanks so much RJL-DLL 75 for your kind reply, and actions you've taken.
Now at least QVC is aware and will monitor all posts and threads and leave our replies visible if they only reflect our positive and negative experiences, without violating any policies. (Maybe now her replies will also be read in their entirety to ensure her continued nasty harassing unwarranted accusations, and replies are removed from every Temptations Products related thread).
You are welcome. I gave them the nickname of the person who I felt was having peoples post removed and they say they will look into that. QVC corp. feels it is very important to be able to voice our opinions and experiences about products without having someone constantly having these posts deleted, if they are not in violation of community standards.
I think if it continues to happen and more people call corporate this issue will get resolved.

This is the first thread in a LONG time that has been allowed to stay up and keep some of the posts which have negative comments about Temptations from being deleted. The people being talked about are some who consistently have tried to post their experiences and failed over and over in the past because someone kept getting them deleted, so they just keep trying. I was one of them, but it seemed to be a total waste of time.
We have been zeroed in on for some unknown reason. Our posts have been truthful and detailed in what happened to us - they were not made by "people who never even bought Temptations" as insinuated time and again, and they are not "untruthful", also insinuated and said outright time and again. Others post their negative experiences, but their posts don't get deleted. None of these posters come here just to "whine and complain", nor because we have "emotional attachments" to Temptations- how silly! They and I only wanted to get out a message about OUR true experiences, which IS ALLOWED on these forums, and I am extremely surprised that these posts have been allowed to stay here this time.
Maybe the PTB at QVC and/or the moderators have finally figured out what is happening here. If anyone at Corporate or the moderators go back and read all the current and prior Temptations threads, it will be revealed very emphatically what has happened, because apparently, even the threads that have been deleted are still accessible to them. That will be the eye-opening moment. These threads are dominated by one poster.
I do LOVE a lot of the Temptations patterns, including the limited edition set that I first posted about here. And I love the variety of pieces offered. However, I can't use them because of the cracking/crazing that I personally experienced on several pieces...I was even tempted to buy the new Fallfetti cupcake type baker the other night because it was so cute, and I love the pieces with the cherries motif. But I cannot justify putting money into pieces that I cannot use in the oven, but only as display, as "suggested" many times by one poster. Maybe I will buy some bowls or something at some point because I like some of the patterns and colors, and see what happens with those. But never another baker.

Thanks again!
EDITED to add: And maybe, maybe when/if QVC corporate is looking into all this, they will change their rules about letting a QVC member having multiple "nicks" here on these boards! Should be that a member should only be able to have one nick!

When Temp-tations first appeared on the Q, they had a TSV and I purchased it. At that time, the set was pretty impressive for the money and I was really pleased, had the set for a very long time, no problems. I eventually gave the set away and have not heard of any problems with them from the new owners. I eventually went to the Polish Stoneware that Gloria brought to the Q, which was superb... very expensive of course, but absolutely the other end of the dial as far as quality and craftsmanship. I started buying one item at a time (because of the price) and even with Gloria leaving the Q, I continue to buy from her website and after all these years have a decent set of bakeware and serving ware with absolutely no problems.
I did go back to Temp-tations recently because I needed two chip and dip type servers for a family reunion. Neither piece goes into the oven, however I do put them in the dishwasher. First thing I noticed was the sloppy paint (compared to what I remembered from my first TSV years ago.) But that was ok, they went well enough (color) with my Polish set and looked good. However, I think that the heat of my dishwasher was too much for one of them and one of the little cups cracked. It was past the 30 day return policy and I didn't bother to say anything. But I didn't and don't believe it was a fluke.
I believe that the line has deteriorated to keep the prices way low... and I haven't/won't buy any more. I had a Phyllis George piece of bakeware (from QVC many years ago and around the time that Temp-tations came out) that cracked and broke in the oven with an extremely hot dish, it went everywhere but luckily not on me! If anyone has EVER had a piece of bakeware completely break with a hot dish in it, they do NOT ever want that to happen again.
I think QVC needs to take a close look at this product because I believe it is a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. Someone is going to get seriously hurt at some point......

The most important issues here still remain unacknowledged which are the following:
When a product becomes unpredictable in quality and safety, becomes consumer dangerous, and its defects cause unexpected dangerous accidents to consumers, which have sustained or can cause injuries, whether from hot oven burns or while handling these items, these consumer dangers must be acknowledged, addressed, and resolved.
There are certain things in life which take precedence over profits and when creating any product sold to consumers the foremost concern should be consumer usage safety, as well as product quality, backed by caring concerned customer service and product warranty divisions.
In my experience I had great consumer expectations regarding all of my Temptations products, but I also had very dangerous consumer usage defective product related accidents, which unfortunately my guests also experienced, and that is a red flag as to knowing a product can become too unpredictable and dangerous to continue to use. (Three strikes and you're out, and that was what I, and my dinner guests experienced).
Unfortunately many others are also voicing these same negative Temptations defects in addition to other complaints which also remain unaddressed, and that is evident.
What is most disturbing and evident is the burning unreasonable desire of one specific member to constantly try and shove her opinions down the throats of everyone who posts their dangerous negative Temptations experiences. "We all post to share and to also alert others, since all consumers should know the pro's and con's of using products in their homes or businesses, or gifting them". Also we are not violating any policies, when we post our defective and dangerous consumer usage alert experiences.
When the replies are displayed and the answers she reads are not to her liking, then the replies of quite a few who dared to alert others and post their honest defects and dangerous consumer usage experiences suddenly vanish, or the thread quickly disappears, and for the most parts many of her personal tirades and attacks on those members remain uncensored. That is just wrong, unjust, unfair, intolerable, unacceptable, and unconscionable, and it also raises red flags.
The internet is a wonderful place and offers many advantages for public opinions of consumer products both pro and con, as do other web sites, and everyone's life will continue as usual...... regardless if they are on or off the internet of their own volition. (As we book our next reservations for travel abroad I know my life will continue happily just as we planned).
When I travel I am off the internet for many months at a time, and even at home there are times I just do not log on.
We all have lived well before the invention of computers and everyone will survive just fine, should they choose not to socially interact on the net, or use computers again.
If I am banned from speaking the truth about my Temptations products dangerous defective consumer experiences, I shall survive, and yet I know I will feel it was worth the efforts to alert others, because consumer safety should take precedence above any financial gain.
My marriage will happily continue, my traveling abroad will continue, my way of life will continue, everything will continue as usual, even my fond memories of internet usage and all cyber friendships formed will always remain with me if I chose to personally never use the internet again.
"What should not continue on is the biased unfair continued censorship which occurs here".
The lack of acknowledgement regarding all the defects and consumer dangers experienced and attributed with consumer product usage of this specific line needs to be acknowledged.
Until all of this is addressed and resolved the truth about all the defects and dangerous consumer usage hot from the oven accidents, will continue to be displayed, regardless of who is displeased.
No matter where my foot steps lead me in this world, as I continue traveling abroad, the truth shall continue to prevail regarding all of the Temptations negative alert member consumer product usage experiences, either with or without my presence and contributions.
All the Temptations pro's and con's will continue to be posted on the internet and read by many, until they are finally acknowledged, addressed, and properly resolved.

Great post! I decided to put that particular poster on ignore and give her no more attention. As I mentioned on this forum I did contact QVC corporate and explained what was happening and gave them this persons nickname who was acting like the forum police. They are looking into this and are contacting the people who monitor the forums. As long as a post is in no violation of "Community Standards" they should NOT be deleted. We all have the right to voice our opinion on a product good or bad, without the fear of someone with an agenda, having out posts deleted. I am impressed with the response I received form QVC and, that they will contact those that monitor the forums and get to the bottom of this.

Maybe the problems with Temptations need to be reported to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for investigation. There is a link on another thread regarding problems with Martha Stewart's products at Macy's...it is a voluntary recall of some of her cookware due to the "possibility" of injury to the consumer. This is part of the story:
"WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Name of Product: Martha Stewart Collection™ Enamel Cast Iron Casseroles
Units: About 960,000
Importer: Macy's Merchandising Group, New York, N.Y.
Hazard: The enamel coating on the cast iron casseroles can crack or break during use. This can cause the enamel to crack and fly off as a projectile, posing a risk of laceration or burn hazard to the user or bystanders.
Incidents/Injuries: Macy's has received two reports of the enamel cracking and flying off of the casseroles during use. No injuries have been reported."
Macy's has only received TWO REPORTS, but this product has been recalled. Something to think about in view of the numerous reports of cracking and breaking with Temptations pieces which could possibly cause injury.
