I wonder why my recent Temp-tations post describing an OW Temp-tations baking dish cracking... was removed.

Re: Recent Temp-tations Post

I didn't see your original post, but I'm sorry that you had trouble with your dish failing. It is not uncommon to see and hear such things, as there are a couple of Facebook pages dedicated to the love (and frustration) of owning/using Temp-tations.

If you contact Temp-tations directly (use their 800 number, not the email option, as they rarely respond to email) they will replace the item, usually just for the shipping cost.

Sorry your post was removed, but there is a particular poster on here that tends to make that happen when people are being critical (and justifiably so if you dishes are cracking and breaking with normal use) of this product line. You'd think she had stock in the company or something the way she defends the product line. Perhaps that is how it was removed.

Re: Recent Temp-tations Post

Why would anyone want a replacement for a defective baking pan?

They are obviously not fired properly since so many fail upon use.

These threads have been around forever....I wish I had listened to what people were saying.

I used a 9x13 pan to make lasagna for my family party. It wasn't frozen or even refrigerated...it went right from assembling the lasagna to baking for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. As I was pulling it out - the pan cracked in half - the hot lasagna went everywhere - on my shoes and inside the oven door!

I also never thought it would happen to me. I collect pottery from the 1930s-1960s. I never put TT in the dishwasher, since prolonged water will get into the clay - making it craze, crack & shatter. I am very careful with any pottery, since it's a passion of mine and I loved the TT so much (at first).

After my incident, I examined other pieces and threw out all of them with any signs of crazing...the one that broke had appeared to be perfect.

My shattered pan was the one with roses and lattice design...but crazing was on OW green pieces, Christmas pieces (red snowflake and red candy cane designs), and polka dot coffee cups.

These posts serve a very valuable function....buyer beware.

I wonder why the most experienced, knowledgeable person on Temptations has not responded to this poster since this thread has been up for two days? I just saw some other posts by her helping someone else this morning and the last day or two, so maybe she will eventually decide to help this "new" poster?? Odd.........{#emotions_dlg.confused1}

I asked her if she was getting paid by Tara and she never responded!

Sorry for your problem,Poodlex2, maybe she will be here soon to lend her expertise. Smile

Remember yesterday when we were getting "duplicate" posts whenever we tried to post on a thread? There are all kinds of duplicate things...maybe that's part of the problem. {#emotions_dlg.confused1}Wink

She can't stop us from stating our experiences and opinions.

In fact I consider it my solemn DUTY to continue posting.

I generally love everything I buy from QVC - including the Lidia bakeware and Rachel Ray bakeware.

Hi guys! Didn't we have fun yesterday! Who knew a line of "economical" stoneware could bring the three of us such "joy" when coupled with the "resident expert" and her undying loyalty?
