I received the Kitchen Aid Diamond 5 speed blender in the Raspberry Ice today. It is a beautiful color and is nice and quiet. It crushes ice beautifully. It has an Ice Crush setting. My smoothie was nice and blended and takes little time to do. 

I was interested in the Vitamix coming up tomorrow but I kept going back looking at this one. Since I won't need a blender for soup and not the extra container for dry that Vitamix offered I ordered this from Bed Bath and Beyond. I saved $26.00 with my 20% off coupon and it had free shipping. Anyone looking at this on QVC as the $129.00 you will not be sorry if you buy this. If you have a coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond it is a great deal and wonderful blender. I received by Fed Ex in two days!

@meallen616 If I could justify getting the Raspberry Ice Kitchen Aid Mixer it would be on my counter also. I have the Kitchen Aid 6qt Professional Mixer in Cobalt Blue and love it. It has the lift bowl and I like that version. Thanks for the post.

I just added a few photos of my new blender. The color was exactly as the photo shown BBB online also.

 MRK NY: I had to replace my 20+ year old KA blender so I purchased the Diamond 5 Speed Vortex. It's nice. Only use it for my AM strawberry-banana smoothie. Like that I don't have to chop up my fresh strawberries into small chunks like my old KA bender made me do. This one has enough power with the vortex to add them whole & get a smooth, smoothie

I got mine from KA for $99.00 + free S&H. I'd go that route if you are thinking of getting a new blender. They have good customer service.

Thanks @ahoymate I already received my blender. They had two models of this. I got the $129.00 and they also had a $99.00 one at Bed Bath and Beyond. I really didn't see a difference but loved the colors available.

Glad you love your blender also. Kitchen Aid has never let me down over the years. My Mixer is probably 18 years old now.
