From frozen.  Total of 6 minutes at 400 degrees for medium. Flip steaks at 3 minutes.

Re: Rastelli steaks in air fryer???

I LOVE MY COOK’S ESSENTIAL 5.3 AIR FRYER.  This evening I put the last 2 of our Rastelli Angus steaks in my air fryer for the first time.  OMG.........they were the best tasting steaks we have had!  Originally I purchased the steaks on auto-delivery and was sorry I did..... I had tried cooking them on the grill, in the summer, in the oven, pan searing and even used Foreman’s grill........didn’t really think they were that GREAT....  until today.  I googled directions for using my air fryer, preheated airfryer, seasoned with salt and pepper and a little olive oil and cooked for 3 minutes each side then let them rest and ...............WOW.... I just re-instated my order.  And while I’m at it.....I made lump crab cakes also from QVC....the other night and they too were wonderful....I’m really enjoying the air fryer..........and of course MY INSTANT POT.  I’m 72, retired and wish I had these appliances when I was raising my kids.......these 2 appliances are the greatest inventions.  I even made CALAMARI FRA DIAVOLO in my Instant Pot for my DH and served over linguini.  These appliances certainly make life easy.  If anyone has any recipes to share.....please let me know.....

I'm making a small steak in my air fryer tonight.  Love the air fryer.  (Mine is Power XL from QVC)

@kipper  i was interested to see your 2oz. steaks. seems really small size for most people, but i'm not a big meat eater, and i would like that size.  did you repackage them to get them that size? i didn't see any offerings in that size. everything was 5oz or larger.

Google Amy & Jacky to find Instant Pot recipes. They were hired by Instant Pot as recipe developers. I got a wing recipe from their site but have not tried it yet. You put in pressure cooker 1st then finish in air fryer or oven. They have a lot of recipes they have tested.

Re: Rastelli steaks in air fryer???

I cook my frozen steaks in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 6 minutes then flip them over and continue to cook for another 6 minutes.  Then let them rest for a few minutes on aplate so the juices which come out will be absorbed by the steak again as it rests.

Also I do use my Therma Pen to check for medium rare, or if serving guests check for their doness temps too, from rare to well done.

The steaks are always perfect and delicious with plenty au jus included to add to mashed potatoes.!
