@bargainsgirlIf you weighed Chickfila breaded chicken tenders they are probably equal to or more than $19 lb.

Have you seen what Chickfila charges now?

Corky's recently had a deal on their tenders for about $12 lb.

Big difference in taste and texture too vs supermarket frozen tenders.

Re: Rastelli's breaded chicken

@bargainsgirl I totally agree with @rockygems123 . We are on AD for several different chicken items. We love them all. Well worth it for me and my family.

I mentioned this on a prior post but my kids love this chicken and thought maybe they could find the same quality and taste for less at a local supermarket. They sampled many different kinds and said they found one that was acceptable but did not compare to QVC's.

Instead of sampling all the different fried chicken locally, spending quite a bit to just try them, we stick to the tried and true items. It is pricey but for us, it's well worth it. If the cost deters you then no worries, there's plenty of items to choose from. Purchase what suits your taste and lifestyle.

Re: Rastelli's breaded chicken

Well, most people have to buy gas.  It is a necessity.

Rastelli's chicken is not a need...it is a luxury item.  I doubt people who are struggling financially are buying luxury chicken.

The price doesn't bother me one bit.  It can go up to $25 a lb for all I care.

I don't buy processed food, especially meat, at any price and I dislike breaded food.

Re: Rastelli's breaded chicken

I purchaased them twice and thought they were excellent.

I got them again last month and they were terrible. Tough, tasteless. Uneven sizes that don't cook evenly. I asked for a refund.

Re: Rastelli's breaded chicken

You're correct @rockygems123, in my area a 30 count of Chick-fil-a nuggets, which I figure equals about a pound is $17.50 plus $1.25 tax so that's $18.75 No tax on Rastelli's. No driving to pick it up or pay a delivery service.

I bought chicken nuggets at BJ's just this past weekend. They looked exactly like Rastelli's, I thought I finally found a great dupe.

They were awful.  They were processed chicken, then purposefully cut irregularly, seasoned and breaded.  Those chicken nuggets tasted like seasoned, edible silicone.

Rastelli's is true cut chicken breast and taste.  They're like I would make at home, if I wanted to go through that bother.  I don't.  Compared to price per pound at a good restaurant (no, I am not speaking of any of those fast food nuggets), I prefer Rastelli's right out of my freezer any night.

Like another poster pointed out, at least do a fair comparison based on taste.  Of course they aren't inexpensive.  But for these specifically, I'll pay for great taste coupled with my time and convenience (and no more trial & error).  It's one of the few food items on QVC that I'll happily purchase.

Look out for those brands that are  using " lab " grown chicken .  Can bet more and more companies will  be using  " Lab-grown, otherwise known as cell-cultivated, meat is made by growing animal cells in stainless steel tanks in labs. "

The price is RIDICULOUS. I make my own. Chicken breast tenders typically cost $3.99 a pound and organic costs $5.99 a pound. The coating is inexpensive to make. The sodium content is WAY too high - 650 mg for one piece.

Best chicken nuggets, strips and patties are "Just Bare" available at grocery stores and Costco. Rostelli steaks on sale this week at Lidl's grocery store.  And the MM meatballs available at Walmart.
