Re: Raspberry Rally girls scouts cookies

@LisaMofSLC On our local FB page lots of moms have girls who are selling them and will deliver within a certain radius. Since it's a large area it's easy to do.

If I buy any I will get them from the girls who sell at my local Safeway. I'm still not inclined to pay $6 for cookies as I don't often eat them but will give them a donation.

I heard this morning that they're about sold out and are selling for up to $100/box on some websites (eBay?).

@Kachina624 @People paying almost $100 a box on a website have got to be nuts.

Like the greedies that listed their Ronzoni Pastina on eBay when they found out it was being discontinued.

Re: Raspberry Rally girls scouts cookies

I placed 3 online orders this year - the first day online ordering was available. The first order indicated that the raspberry and toffee ones were not available to order..........that order has been shipped.

I went online a few hours later and the raspberry ones were available and I ordered 5 boxes between the two orders........got an email yesterday that those two shipments are delayed.

I generally send them as Valentine day treats to my neices and BF's grandkids, but the online shipping was changed to March 1 this year.

I gave up sugar awhile back so I don't buy GS cookies anymore but Aldi has the best cookies. They have GS dupes for a lot of them. And they're cheap. I have a hard time going in there because they have such good treats.

Re: Raspberry Rally girls scouts cookies

Hubbie learned his lesson last year.  He came out of the grocery store and 2 girls had their table selling cookies.  Instead of just telling them "no thank you" he said I would buy 8 boxes if I had the cash, but I don't carry any.

The girl said "pick out which 8 you want" and whipped out a credit card reader and said "will that be debit or credit?"

He came home with 8 boxes.

Re: Raspberry Rally girls scouts cookies

We have tons of people on Next Door that sell the cookies and set up at grocery stores.

Keebler Grasshopper cookies are the same as the Thin Mints.

I still have Thin Mints in my freezer from last year so I didn't buy any. I don't see any I like so I don't buy them anymore. The raspberry looked interesting.

Re: Raspberry Rally girls scouts cookies

I hear people are selling GS cookies for way more than they should cost. So who in their right mind oould pay so much for a not fresh cookie?
