Range Mate: has this happened to anybody?

I have the small rectangle and the large round. I made a burger in the rectangle ( 6 minutes total cook time). I was cleaning the lid and I noticed that it has bubbled in two areas. I know not to submerge the portion that you cook in, but I have been cleaning the lid with detergent and running water....are we not supposed to do that? Poodlepet

I read awhile ago that the first rectangular ones were having trouble with bubbling but that the newer round Range Mates do not have that problem. I think these bubble problems were discussed on earlier threads about the Range Mate. I just have the round one and have no problems with it.
