I prefer Prego, but I add ingredients to it so it becomes "my sauce".  I usually add mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and wine.  We like chunky sauce.

I use both, but prefer prego.  Not sure about the brand on alfredo, it's been a while.  It probably was ragu.

When I run out of home made sauce, I use Prego and "doctor" it up.  We make sauce almost every year and freeze it in quart containers.  Nothing like home made.  Smiley Happy

Classico is about the same price as the ones you are asking about and both husand and I like it about 100% more.  They have different flavors too.

I agree, I usually go for Classico. I like the mushroom and olive, the roasted garlic, and the sun dried tomato.

Prego. I have made marinara sauce numerous times, but not lately. When I buy sauce, I like to add to it. I recently had a wee bit of Prego left, but not enough to do much of anything with. I pureed a can of San Marzano tomatoes, added some dried red chili flakes, and mixed it into the remaining marinara. Voila -- a Frankensteined sauce, and the Prego lives on.

We like Prego although I do doctor it with crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and herbs.

DH likes to make homemade spaghetti sauce.

For recipes that call for pasta sauce as an ingedient, I like Classico, usually Tomato & Basil.

I prefer Gia Russa or La Familia Del Grosso. I've been doctoring up jarred sauces for years now. Check them out!

Neither. I usually make my own or use Rao's. IMO, it's the BEST!
