While growing up it was around 1:00 with sandwiches and leftovers later but now it is around 5:00.  Everyone shows up around 1:00 with time to socialize before eating and getting sluggish.

I always shoot for 2:00 but of course that NEVER happens.  Usually it's more like 3:30-4:00.  And it's over in ten minutes so it's always a wonder to me what all the to-do was about.  🤣

I am planning to have it ready around 5:00 or 6:00. There will just be son and daughter in law, husband and myself.

The bird will be in the oven at 7:30 AM.  We'll be eating between 12:30 PM  and 1:00 PM.  Some of our guests have other places to go later in the day.

Isn't that the truth.  All of that work for such a short time of eating. LOL!

2:00pm for me. Same time as every other days dinner. Prefer my heaviest meal of day early and then light snack later. I retire earlier then most so can’t handle a heavy meal without digestion issues in the evening. Enjoy your meal and more importantly the company you share it with whatever time you choose.

We do not do a sit down meal.   I have it ready by 1:00, and we eat when we get hungry.

We usually eat around 11:30.

When our whole family met for Thanksgiving, we always started eating by 11:30.

It was hard to wait, but oh--so worth it!
