Re: RICED CAULIFLOWER FOR PIZZA..I HATE THE IDEA, BUT...

@Flatbush I have niot tried it myself but would like to.  Did it taste like cauliflower to you?  Was it crispy and crunchy like a real pizza crust?

I like that it's lower in carbs....

@Carmie I will have to look for it the next time I'm in Costco.  Where is it located?....frozen foods?

TIA!

@haddon9   Yes,  frozen foods.  Often on sale....two pizza in a box.

@haddon9

It is not a crispy crust, but not mushy either. It did not taste like cauliflower, or I would not have liked it.

Of course, I am talking only about the crust I made.

I don't know about store bought ones.

One thing I know, my home made crust did not cost even 1/2 as much as store bought ones that I saw.

@Starpolisher

It was: The Best Cauliflower Pizza That Won't Fall Apart

It was Chef Buck and it ran for 13 minutes and 56 seconds.

Re: RICED CAULIFLOWER FOR PIZZA..I HATE THE IDEA, BUT...

@Flatbush Thanks!  I'm going to look into both the Costco version & recipes for making my own.  I did a low carb diet starting last Nov and up until the end of May.  I lost over 25lbs but was not paying attention to what I was eating over the summer.  Plus we just went to a few weddings and Halloween didn't help.

I started eating low carb again this week.  It's really not difficult once you get past the first week or so.
