I am new at making my own pie crusts and doing pies now.
I read somewhere (or saw) to blind bake the crust you put black beans in the area to keep the crust from puffing?#
Well, I did that after pricking w/fork to let air escape and the beans basically "baked" (but not stuck) into my crust.
Is this right??? Thank you --
