Question regarding the pressure cooker

It looks like everything Meredith is taking out of the pressure cooker is very liquidy--the chicken cacciatore looks so watery--the beef pot roast gravy looked the same. It it because it is pulling the liquid out of the meat or what. I have never had a pressure cooker-I am used to cooking in my Le Crueset and love that--I don't know if I would be happy with the pressure cooker. Anyone have one and absolutely love it? My family does not like barbeque ribs or anything with barbeque sauce--I don't like cabbage--so tell me why I should buy one. thanks.
