Question on giving gift for wedding..

Ok didnt know where to post this...sorry if wrong place! Ok...my son is getting married, for 3rd time in about 6 wks. Girl he is marrying, her 1st. They have lived together for maybe 4 yrs. They live a long way from us & we dont really get to see them much. They both have great jobs & are busy, my husband is not in good health cant travel. They are going even farther away to get married so we wont be able to attend wedding. Now I would love to get them a Keurig for gift, they are registered @ 3 places & have mostly smaller kitchen stuff listed. I have no clue if they might have a Keurig or if they might like one. I know my son drinks lots of coffee. Just wondered if it would be ok to gift one without knowing or is there a tactful way to ask if they would like one? Or should I just send a gift card & let them pick what they want. They both make really excellent money buy anything they want, DH is on SS & I work but dont make a very big salary. We r on a tight budget. But I would still like to get them something really nice. I am just lost here. The other 2 weddings for him, he was close & I knew what they wanted. If someone has suggestions I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks
