Hey, ladies,
I have this pressure cooker and really like it, however, I'm having one small issue. The manual says that when the steam releases slowly and naturally after the meal is cooked, that the pressure valve will drop. Well, mine never goes up! I looked up troubleshooting in the manual and it says to add more liquid if that happens, so I did and still nothing. The food is cooking and if I release the steam right away by turning the valve, there is plenty of steam, so there's nothing wrong with the cooking process, but I don't understand why my valve isn't going up when it builds up enough pressure to start counting down the time. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, does it make any difference? Thanks so much for any help you can give me.
Lynn
