I'm making a dip for a cook-out tomorrow. I always put chopped onions in it -- either yellow or white onions. My friend asked that I use green onions instead. The other kind don't agree with her.
I've never used green onions. I'll chop them up like I usually do with the other ones, but how much of it do you use? The whole thing other than cutting off the very bottom?
