QVC Should Give Up The Fake Social Distancing

Today on "In The Kitchen With Mary" we saw that Chef Aaron McCargo Jr. is presenting in the same studio with Mary - just not on camera with her. Then we saw Stacey Stauffer and MCM joining together in the same space to wish Mary well on her 5th ITKWM anniversary. When are they going to just get back together on camera and stop with the pretending?

Of course at times, their may be an occasional lapse of social distancing. It happens with me as well and I am always trying to be aware of my surroundings.

QVC is a huge company and doing their best to keep people safe. Vaccines and boosters are important but even asymptomatic transfer can happen.

I wouldn't call it "fake."  Trying to do what's safe, and if it looks wrong or fake to you, maybe there are reasons behind what they are doing that we don't understand.  Maybe some people consider certain ones in their "bubble," but guest hosts would have lots of other contacts, so good to do as they are for now.

Yes, @PA Mom-mom   it's better as it was before, I agree.  Hang on, someday it will be more like what we enjoy.

Spoiler

With all the talk of vaccinations and casting aside masks, I haven't head a word about social distancing.  Maybe it's now passe?  Old fashioned... so 2020.

I agree, but I love it IRL

I don't like people crowding up on me in checkout lines or anywhere

I was like this long before COVID

But I do find it annoying on TV

I was flipping around the channels, stopped on a different shopping channel but got so annoyed I had to quit watching.   The host was in the studio but the "expert" was at a different location.   The quality of the audio & video was poor and they kept talking over each other, I guess because of the lag time

I know at one time it was difficult to fly but I can't imagine why they are still doing the long distance video thing.

I like a few feet around myself as well., and the same goes for traffic!  I'm not a slow driver by any means and don't stay in the passing lane, but some drivers want my "back bumper as their front bumper"!
