My local IGA hasn't advertised whole turkeys as yet.  This weeks ad has their cheap store brand turkey breasts for 99 cents a pound.  I would cook and feed it to my dog, but not my family.

Re: Price Of Holiday Whole Turkeys

The turkey breast I got at Save-A-Lot was just $1.79/lb. Mine's 3.7 pounds which is perfect for one person. Most of the "deals" on turkeys locally this year require you to spend $400 first. I'm not seeing the big markdowns we've seen in recent years.
