This is the BEST mixer made... !  It doesn't matter which model you buy they are ALL incredible!  I have the Professional 600 in Pearl Gray that I bought years ago mainly to have the power to go through a cookie dough I make once a year that has hardly any liquid in it.... it handles it like no other!  The best product!!  Thanks for giving everyone the stats.... It would make an excellent early Easter/Passover present for all of that great food we cook on this breaking spring!

I don't bake enough to really have much more than a hand mixer, but will want one when I have kids because I love baking with my niece and nephew with my sister's and mother's. I try not to have baked goods in the house or I will eat them. If it ain't here, I can't eat it!!

Wow, this looks like a killer TSV mixer.  2 bowls and all those attachments?  Wish I didn't already have a KitchenAid mixer!

Imported?    So I guess all the KA products that are sold through QVC are now from China.   The stand mixers were the last hold out.

In my earlier life, I typically made dozens of batches of cookies, usually doubling the recipe.  The only mixer I ever had was a little GE hand mixer that I got as a wedding present.  It's still in use.  Buy a big space-hog mixer if you wish, but you don't really need one.

After I saw "imported" I checked out the KitchenAid website.  There is a nice store in Greenville, OH that I have been to numerous times.  Some of the mixers there state "Proudly made in Greenville, OH".  I think their hand mixers are made in USA.

In my case I sure did.... the only way I could mix those cookies I mentioned was by hand! Year after year I would make batch after batch by hand, my husband gave them to people at his work, my kids gave them to teachers, it got so everyone asked about these cookies every year (they have 3 chocolate flavors in them, white, milk and dark.  They have three nuts in them, walnuts, almond slivers and pecans and are more like candy than a cookie.  There is only enough dough in them to (barely) hold the good stuff together).....  then it got too hard.  I couldn't get it mixed properly, killed my hands.

I couldn't believe the power the 575 watt mixer had.  I do a 6 qt batch at a time now and do three 6 qt loads at one sitting.... for me it's been a blessing.  I also use it for regular stuff, mashed potatos, egg whites, you name it.  I just throw a Kitchenaid cover over it and it recesses right into the back of my counter..... one of the best appliance purchases I've ever made... Woman LOL

BTW, I made those cookies by hand because NO MIXER (and I have a hand mixer) would go through the cookie mixture.  It would not budge, just the motor groan and not move....
