I would like to try the newer models that are digital. Which brands would you
recommend for ease of use and quality.
Thanks!

Instant Pot
Instant Pot
Instant Pot!
Make yogurt, steam veggies, cook potatoes, soups...I use mine several times a day. Electric, of course. There's a huge online FB community.
Quality machine. $115-120ish.
Here's a great video on how to steam veg in the Instant Pot.
Also includes a discount, if interested.

Isn't there going to be a pressure cooker as a TSV on Wednesday...I thought I heard David and Meredith mention it along with a cook book she just wrote...might want to check that out...

this is a little off topic ,but Mizree made mention of purchasing a ss inner pot --- this is one item I am going to seek when I purchase another one and you may care to look for?
I own a Montel Williams one . I do not think they are sold anymore and got some bad reviews. But, I have had mine for quite awhile and I love electronic PC ! I use my old stovetop Presto only for quick cooking items.
Even though it has been improved over the years I do not like teflon like coatings and this was about all that was offered when I purchased mine. Now I have noticed SS inner pots offered on many. I think that would be healthier.

Fa gor (one word) for electric, the multi-function one. You can get a stainless pot for it.
Stovetop theFisslers, hands down!

Another vote for Instant Pot!!! They come with a stainless steel inner pot! It is a wonderful PC. I've had two other brands and this one is superior.
It does everything including soups, yogurts, saute, slow cook, rice cooker and of course does pressure cooking.
The SS pot is very easy to clean too which was my only concern when I bought it.
I bought the glass lid to go with it too. That is for slow cooking, keeping warm or storing in the fridge.
It is the best.

The upcoming TSV is K44020. A small CE for $50.
I vote for the Instant Pot.

I vote for the Instant Pot.
My first PC was a CE. I used it probably 5 times a week at least and it quit in a year. It was about $100 at the time. I then bought a Nesco at WM which looked exactly like my CE only it had the name Nesco on it. It quit in exactly a year also. I would never buy another CE or Nesco (obviously the same maker).
Yes to Instant Pot!!!

One more thing, there are only 2 of us and the 6 qt. IP is the perfect size for us. You don't have to fill it full to have it work great!
My CE and Nesco PCs were only 4 qt. and they were not big enough if I wanted to make a pot of chili or soup.
