Pressure Cookers

Bob Warden,

I returned a defective pressure cooker. Before I purchase another one, I would like to clarify how to use them. It is unclear in your recipe books how to actually time the recipes. When you say, cook for 10 minutes, is that 10 minutes including the time it takes for the pressure cooker to come up to pressure???

I would appreciate your help by giving step by step directions.....and improving the directions that come with the pressure cookers.
