I've never owned one, but I recall many delicious meals cooked by my grandmother with the old-fashioned kind. I wasn't allowed to go near the kitchen when she used it!

That Cook's Essential model with the companion cookbook was tempting today. I cook most of the meats they demonstrated in my oven and would like to try something that saves time and turns out more tender. If you have a pressure cooker, do you use it often?
