I have a CE digital pressure cooker (several years old). The coating on the insert has worn off and the rubber seal doesn't always work. I'm trying to decide if I should buy another pressure cooker or the Ninja 3 in 1 cooker. Any opinions from all of you foodies would be appreciated.

I have both a pressure cooker and the Ninja and they both shine in different ways. If, for example, you wanted to have beans for dinner but forgot to soak them overnight, the PC will give you dinner in under two hours. You can use frozen chicken and meat in the PC-I would not do that in any slow cooker of any kind.
I'm not all that impressed with the slow cooking feature on the Ninja: I've tried it twice and sorry to say, my meat was not fork tender as a a conventional slow cooker or pressure cooker for that matter would have done.
All that being said, I do like the steam baking feature on the Ninja-but once again, a lot of those recipes that are given could probably be made in the PC on a steaming racking and covering the food in aluminum.
The Ninja does have it's uses-I don't regret buying it. It is great for keeping food warm, but for money and versatility, I'd go with the pressure cooker.

Both! I love both of mine and use them all the time, often both at the same time. I love it during the summer to keep from heating the house up. Add my rice cooker to the trio, and I'm in heaven without a hot kitchen.

Thank you both for your replies. Since I have a small kitchen, I'm kind of leaning towards the pressure cooker.

I too have both but if I had to choose my pressure cooker would win although I do use my Ninja for roasting pot roasts, pork roasts, ham and one pot meals but as a slow cooker or fast, no. I use a regular slow cooker for that and my pressure cooker as well but I will say I do use my Ninja a lot more than either the pressure cooker or my slow cooker since I do more roasts and one pot meals. So, guess I need all 3 but wouldn't trade my Ninja either.
I too have a very small kitchen but the Ninja is always out and the slow cooker and pressure cooker are put away.

They are separate items with different functions. I use the ninja 3-in-1 at least 3-4 times/week. Mostly for steam roasting chickens and steam baking breads. My pressure cookers are used frequently for things like corned beef and cabbage or pot roasts and pulled pork.
Between the two, I rarely use my slow cookers/crock-pots or dutch ovens anymore.
As far as saving time...the pressure cookers win, hands down. The average chicken usually takes about 65-75 minutes steam baking in the ninja. Yesterday I did a five lb chicken in the pressure cooker in less than 30 minutes and it was still partially frozen when I started.
I do use an instant read probe thermometer in all my projects including breads to get perfect results.
I also use my big boss rapid-wave oven frequently and with steam roasting things like breads it's essential to get that crisp crust. (or use the gas oven to finish).
While I love them all, if I had to choose, I couldn't do without my pressure cookers, but I'd hate to give up my ninja.
Enjoy!

I have to agree with all that is said here, but if I had to pick one it would be the pressure cooker. Don't ever want to be without one of those again.

I never use my pressure cooker to brown anything. I figure its pretty easy to wash out a skillet and I'd just as soon save the finish on the insert.

I have a Fagor electric multicooker. I can brown the meat in it first then turn it to a pressure cooker or slow cooker. It's also a rice cooker, and has a keep warm option. It's a complete one pot cooking experience. I just got it at Christmas and so far I'm impressed. I've done lots of veggies, and pork chops that are very tender.

If I had to pick, it would be a pressure cooker.
