Preparing for the Upcoming Storm Season

I am preparing for the upcoming storm season, and was looking for ideas. What are some meals that can be prepared during a blackout using just the gas stove, or outdoor grill? What are some things you've wished you've had during an extended blackout?

After living through Sandy last year, I want to be prepared. I don't want to shop at the last minute.

I've got a well stocked pantry with canned goods, soups, spagetti sauces, etc. I also have a small generator. What are your favorite meals that can be cooked without electricity?
