Rachael Ray had about 5 variations on Friday. They all looked yummy - Buffalo style, pizza, salt and vinegar, a few more.

I was on a treadmill so I didn't get all the details...just go to her show's site.

I pop it in rendered bacon grease and clarified butter. Salt it with salt and chipolte powder. No extra butter.

I guess you have no concern about fat content in your arteries? Good luck with that diet.

Well that was rather rude!

Not rude gentle reader. The truth often times is hard to hear. Heart disease is the #1 killer in this country.

She didn't say that she eats that every single day.

As long as the rest of her diet is good, and she has her popcorn as a rare treat, I'm sure her arteries are just fine.

It's so nice of you to be so concerned for her health!

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.

One of my favorites is to melt the butter in a small pan until it's brown. Browned butter on popcorn is addictive, thankfully I don't do it very often.

I love popcorn popped on the stove, drizzled lightly with real butter, no salt.

Way to go on those labs stilltamn8r! My labs earlier this month showed my total cholesterol to be 116 and my triglyceride level was 96; I eat a lot of meat, but high cholesterol does not run in my family.

I like organic popcorn with a little himalayan sea salt. I don't like butter on my popcorn. I also like the popcorn Indiana white cheddar in the red bag.

i pop my corn in a Back to Basic stainless steel version of the Whirley-Pop using a half cup unpopped kernels, three tablespoons of canola oil, one teaspoon of flavacol, and then top it with two tablespoons of melted butter. Flavacol is a popcorn seasoning salt that's pretty good.
