I love and cherish my silver!  There is just nothing else like it.

I always use Hagerty products.  Their spray product is really good too.  In an "emergy" I have used their silver dip on flatware and been pleased with the results.  I wouldn't do it all the time though.

I wouldn't use the washing soda and foil thing on really good silver.  It can take the tarnish out and give the patina an odd look on old silver.

Amazon carries Twinkle and Twinkle wipes.

Most things worth having are a little trouble!

My Mom used Hagerty! I forgot about that..Yes, I waited far too long in between uses of this chafing dish! It may never clean up..and I actually normally LIKE to polish silver...in fact, as a teen, I used  to offer to polish my sister-in-laws silver when I baby sat for them!

I just tried the baking soda method on an Oneida silverplate spoon and I'm NOT recommending this!

A bit of tarnish at the tip of the spoon and it's left a white haze where the tarnish was.  Back to the store for regular silver polish and I hope I can get this haze out.
