I haven't bought dinnerware in a number of years. I been looking around and I decided on her dinnerware. It arrived yesterday and I love it. The only thing is she doesn't include the coffee mugs in the set. I am hoping for gift cards for Christmas so I can keep adding other things that match the set.

@hovis

I too have not bought dinnerware in a number of years and am currently looking.  Where did you find the ones by the Pioneer Woman?  I hope that you get a lot of gift cards for Christmas so that you can add to your dish set.

I love  her  dishes. I bought her butter dish. If I didn't  already  have  dishes I love I would  buy these. Walmart has these.

Re: Pioneer Woman Dinnerware

I read that this breaks very easily, someone said it was good only for decor.

No personal knowledge.

That's why I didn't purchase any.

I love my pioneer woman dishes. I did chip a bottom edge on one of the bowls pretty easily though but for the price the quality is okay.

They do set a pretty table.

I saw them at WalMart too and a young woman saw me looking at them and said she had them and loved them.

[ Edited ]

I'm a dishes nut and have had many different sets over the years until the mid 90's.  I returned to the work force around '96 and a year or two after that I became a Longaberger consultant because I yearned after their pottery piece for a number of years before that.  I've had them ever since, which is an unusually long period for me to keep the same dishes.  I didn't care a bit about having customers, I wanted the consultant discount so I could get dishes for myself.  I went crazy and have three VERY large sets (plain ivory, ivory with a blue motif around the edge, and ivory with a traditional holly motif around the edge) with specialty place setting pieces and extensive serving pieces.  One set is for the kitchen, one for the dining room, and one is only used Thanksgiving thru mid-January.  That said, I love the designs in the Pioneer Woman line.  I don't have one inch of room for anymore dishes and I'd feel very guilty just dumping what I have and wanted so badly, to make the switch.  If I was in the market for dishes today, though, I'd probably consider hers.  The easy chipping is a concern though.  Enjoy it!
