To MKR - NY..........where did you get or find the recipe for the French bread? I just looked in the recipe that came with the cooker but didn't see a recipe there.

I made hard boiled eggs in the cooker for 25 minutes. They were perfectly cooked. I am pleased with that recipe. It stated 20 minutes for soft boiled. This was not in the recipe booklet.
The french bread was one a poster on this forum posted. Pop open the bread and roll it into a ball. Spray the inside of the cooker with Pam. I cooked mine for 40-50 minutes and turned over and cooked another 20 minutes. The top has to set up before you turn it. Make sure it is not real sticky. When you turn it the bottom will be a nice light brown. When done, I let it set another 10 minutes in the cooker as the one who posted it suggested. When done I took it out and flipped it onto a small plate and buttered the top of mine. It was cooked perfect.

@MKR14, do you think making the bread pudding into patties and lightly frying would fix the texture or at least make it more to your liking? Just a thought. I know that works with stuffing that is a bit too moist.

@Marp The bread pudding was almost soup so unfortunately would not have been able to put in a patty to fry it. I let it get firm and set up and then tried it. It was delicious. I found I forgot the egg and later found the updated recipe that said 3 cups of bread and I had 2 1/2 cups in it. I would make again but add enough bread up until it looked firmer after the liquid soaked in. Fresh raspberries were awesome in it. I bet blackberries would be good too. ![]()

I had the same problem with the bread pudding I made - it stayed too wet, more like thick oatmeal and I added more time, up to 45 minutes more. I used blueberries. Next time I'll use more bread and see how that works out. I'm not in a hurry to try it again, anytime soon though.
