Re: People Eating Out Of Potato Chip Bag

I don't like people eating out of the bag either, because they tend to lick to salt off their fingers. It's the same to me as double-dipping. I always have them put chips in their own bowl or plate. Same with the dip.

I've always put chips on a plate. The only time I don't is when we order out at work and you get a single serve bag.

Re: People Eating Out Of Potato Chip Bag

Love this topic. I serve chips to DH and my boys and hide the bag. LOL

If I EVER catch one of them drinking out of a milk jug/carton....

This is one of those subjects that isn't worth a hill of beans (Missouri saying) but I thought it would be fun to ask everyone.

And I was right, the posts have given me many smiles and giggles{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

So many things are serious in our lives and what is more petty than someone eating out of my potato chip bag.

I just buy "Dill Pickle" chips and my husband won't touch them.

My husband stands at the kitchen counter, eating the chips and drops crumbs on the floor.

It wouldn't bother as much but he always seems to do it right after I have swept and mopped the floor{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

My husband used to eat chips on the couch......drop the crumbs, and then sit back down on them. Those things leave grease stains! (Maybe annoying husband habits could be a whole new thread!)

Absolutely, and I could fill an entire thread!{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

So much for talking my post on my phone. It is better to wait till I can post on my computer.

I'm sure there are things that we do that drives our husbands nuts.

But right now I can't think of one thing that I do wrong.

This reminds me of an episode of "The Middle." Did you ever see the one where the son clipped his toenails into an almost empty potato chip bag and the mother did not know, picked up the bag off the coffee table and proceeded to eat the crumbs. Ugh. It was really gross.

Re: People Eating Out Of Potato Chip Bag

What about people who blow air into the empty bag, and then "pop" it to announce they are finished?

Yes, I know some will say this is petty but this is just a fun thread.

I don't like it but husband and both sons do it.

This may seem crazy but my husband and I have our own bags. One thing we like different kinds. But I don't like anyone eating right out of the bag.

Get a bowlSmile

For one thing, when you eat right out of the bag you really have no idea how much you're eating, so it really messes up portion control.

"Ha ha ha! I'm glad I'm not alone with this quirk. My ex-husband used to lick his fingers, and then put them back in the bag. It totally grossed me out."

I don't like to see someone lick their fingers ever.

Re: People Eating Out Of Potato Chip Bag

Look, I already posted here on how much I dislike it (it's just rude). I just thought of something. Look, I live alone with two cats. I would never consider eating out of the potato chip bag even though I'm the only one who will probably ever eat out of the bag.

Should someone visit and want a chip I'll happily hand them the bag knowing my hands had not reached in for chips. It's just polite. Besides, it controls how many you eat. Ha!
