I've moved on to the Spice House as well.  No lectures, just good products. Owned and operated by the sister of the Penzey's owner.  Obviously, Penzey's now feels the need to have 'specials'.  HMMM, they must have lost some customers.

Isn't Spice House sold in grocery stores? If it is I'm sure I have used their spices.

Nope. My money goes elsewhere; not that the company cares.

Ironically, I found another company whose product is, IMHO, far superior at the same time Penzey turned me off with their "advertising".

@Sammijo10,  I started buying from Penzey's in 2012 and they've always had specials.   It's nothing new.    Last time I read about it, their recent company sales figures had continued to either hold steady or they had gone up, so they're doing fine.   I like them, as do many others, and I feel that it's good that we have choices.😊

I go to the local Penzey's about once a month.

The lady running the store is so nice, seems appreciative for the business, no lectures.

That store is my happy place.

I've never visited when she didn't give me a "freebie"
